I am not against recreational marijuana. Heck, anyone that KNOWS me knows I had a blunt in my ear everywhere i went for years (if not my mouth), though in our industrys infancy stages, perception is everything. Allowing media to come in and create their own stories on what we do is dangerous. Sure, rec parties are no dif if not safer than drinking parties, though, what d we want to prove? That we can smoke in peace? This is known. We dont need to feed the propaganda. We need to feed the people. We need to nourish our culture in ways that will sustain our ability to continue enjoying freedom this country promises. My heart goes out to all the families suffering because of unjust laws. In the spirit of our lost & sick and those of us who will get sick, I encourage my community to gather peacefully. I encourage my community to stand up for whats right. I encourage my community to speak out in the name of injustice. And I encourage my community to police ourselves so others dont have to. Every hash explosion, every dab on tv, every dispensary only out for a profit and not true balanced Patient health care is a blow to our good name and nature. Do i really need to explain why recreationally dabbing on national television or in major media period is potentially a bad idea? Do you think that the media has an impeccable history of covering stories correctly? We must be careful if we want this to grow.
