I am not obsessed with space travel and exploration, it is a realization that it is our future. Its not just about dwindling resources for a growing population or pollution on Earth, its about our desire to explore. When were the greatest turning points in human history? They all revolved around exploration; the Roman Empire sending its armies out to conquer the known world at the time, Columbus and the Vikings discovering distant lands, the colonial powers bringing almost the entire planet under their spheres of influence, and the race to put a man in space and on the Moon. Space is the next wild frontier and its humanitys destiny, hardwired into our DNA, to learn as much as we can and benefit from it for the betterment of our race.
