I am on another site and trying to talk someone out of getting a e collar to stop her husky chasing off after other animals, buffalo, squirrel etc. I have now found out she is talking about just vibrating collars, I know these can be good for deaf dogs but to stop a high prey drive dog? I cant see that working at all and am still suggesting positive reinforcement, recall on a long line. Lots of us have dogs that can never be let off for one reason or another and feeling sorry cause your dog cant run loose and play on a beach with others isnt a reason to get a vibrating collar or is it?
