I am overwhelmed by the kindness that people have shown to Tracey and I about Curious Georges passing. I would also like to express our gratitude to Cat Care Hospital on Powder Springs Road. They provided care, dignity, and kindness... They are just good people. As pet parents, we all know that when that time comes, it just... Well, its just not a fun time. However, the joy and companionship that our fur babies bring into our lives far outweighs the times like these. Would we rescue George all over again knowing what we have faced the past few days? ABSOLUTELY! ...And if you are looking for a furry companion, I would encourage you to adopt a rescue. I promise you within a few days, you will have difficulty remembering who rescued who. :) For years, I thought I had done that for Dewey. I thought that was my story to tell. And I had done that. When Dewey was hurt, cold, and crying, I was there. I held him. I made sure everything was all right. But thats only a sliver of the truth.
