I am pleased to announce my endorsement by Academy Award Winning Actor, Richard Dreyfuss. I am proud of my involvement in the Dreyfuss Initiative, thedreyfussinitiative.org. The Dreyfuss Initiative is a non partisan national effort to reintegrate teaching of civics into our schools and better teach our children about our Constitution and the founding of this great Nation- a revolution fought with the revolutionary idea that all have inalienable liberty and the freedom to succeed. Civics is no longer taught in many of our schools and more than 1/3 of our nations high school seniors cannot pass a Citizenship Test. Our mandate is prepare our children to one day lead our country - civics, critical thought and critical reasoning MUST be part of our educational system.
