I am pro-gun, pro-military, anti-foreign war...while I deeply respect those who have served, I am ashamed of what our country has done around the world. I do not see this as a contradiction. I believe myself to be a patriot....but not of the plastic, made-in China American flag waving variety. I believe that as individuals we must take a good hard look at ourselves and acknowledge our own sins and failings in the light of the knowledge of God through Jesus Christ. I also believe that this is the only hope for our nation.
