I am really disappointed with Gulliani. As a former prosecutor, and Mayor, he is totally aware of the first amendment rights of protesters. He may not like what they are saying, but he knows they have a constitutional right to do so. As for the Police Union reps, they should be aware of that BAD APPLES IN The barrel tend to spoil all of the rest if not removed. there are thirty five thousand uniformed police officers in the city of New York. The few bad apples that exist are now the face of the NYPD. If the unions want a true representation of the NYPD then they need to get rid of the bad apples. Respect is given respect is earned. Communities will respect, rather than fear the police, when they are given the same respect that the police departments ask of them in carrying out their duties.
