I am sharing this in the hope it will save one life at least. It has been 6 years since my 22. year old daughter died by suicide. I still believe it was selfish. She turned her pain into pain for everyone she left behind. She did not seek help or share her pain. She was selfish but it was her life and her right of choice. Now we are left childless after raising a child for 22 years and we have to decide daily how to handle it. Suicide is available to us as well but we carry on living because we want to. Every day we choose life but it is our right to choose otherwise as well. Just know there are a better way just get help and if not for you do it for the sake of those who love you and cant bear the thought to live without you. Talk to them and give them the opportunity to help you find help. They deserve at least that.
