I am sharing this video again because it NEEDS to be seen. Both the recorded declaration AND the signage in the rotunda say "participants" will be subject to arrest. On Thursday, a Madison police officer came to the Capitol with a sign that said "Cops for free speech." He asked the police in charge if he would be okay as one person with a sign demonstrating on his own. He was told yes. (Probably because it would be really bad form to arrest a fellow police officer.) Yet on Friday, mere spectators were being threatened with arrest. Also, the DOA spin machine is twirling like mad. They often lie to the public, and Friday was no different. There was a wedding on Friday. It took place on the Capitol steps outdoors at 11:45. The wedding was NOT disrupted. Even the tour guide at the info desk was telling people the wedding party went outside at 11:30. This is a smear campaign waged by the DOA. The same people that tell you they are enforcing a temporary restraining order AGAINST them, who told you that CLOTH banners are a safety hazard because they contain wood and metal, and who claim there is an EMERGENCY at the Capitol so they need new rules. Well, there is an emergency at the Capitol. Your rights are being violated. Stand up all victims of oppression!
