I am so happy to be participating in this years Boston Comic Con art Auction. I will be collecting original pieces of art for this fantastic event. Otherwise, you will see me at your table anyway at the con! :) Comic Art Auction at the BCC! On Sunday August 10 at 2pm in the Federal Complex, the Boston Comic Con is hosting a public comic book original art auction at this years show. This is your chance to own a piece of original art from some of the most notable comic book artists in the industry. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Mike Wieringo Scholarship for aspiring comic book artists. This scholarship was established in memory of comic book artist Mike Wieringo for aspiring comic book artists studying sequential art at the Savannah College of Art and Design who can demonstrate not only the talent but the financial need. The scholarship recipient is chosen by a panel of comic book art professionals and close friends of Mike Wieringo. Bob Shaw Kim Shaw
