I am so heartbroke about this! Shasta has been at UCAC a very long time, .... She had an adopter that jumped right at the chance to adopt her. She was adoption confirmed a few weeks ago so has gone unshared since! She was already paid up, and was just waiting on her vetting and was getting her shots and heartworm test today and was to be picked up this afternoon to go home. She loaded up at the vets and despite wanting to play and run so bad, finally getting some time out of her pen, she steadily sat like a good girl at the vets doing exactly what she was told. Her heartworm test came back positive for heartworms and the adopters were informed. They decided not to take her home after all... so back to the pen at animal control she is. She has gone a few weeks without being networked and has waited so long! She needs a home or rescue ASAP and she needs at least Valentines to help with basic vetting costs of Apx $83.00 for spay, shots, and hw test. She is such a good girl, lets not fail her.... heartworms is treatable and she feels great and doesnt even know she is sick. Home or rescue PLEASE! She shouldnt have gone back to her pen today, this isnt her fault! Share Share Share!
