I am so livid. I just went to vote at Hollenbeck Junior high where I have been voting for years. There werent but a few people voting. This old guy poll worker was loudly talking to his poll worker buddy about that people should vote yes on Amendment 1 because its backed by Peta and also that 97% of the farmers are for it. He was talking loudy so everyone could hear him. Well, I went home right away and called the St. Charles County Election Office - the lady was so very nice. She said she would get it on right away. She said she didnt blame me one bit for being so upset. Seriously, I am shaking. Poll workers are not suppose to give their personal opinions. I have never experienced anything like that in all my years of voting. I actually think Im taking a xanax. She said she would get on it right away.
