I am sure that this is appropriate....without consulting Aaron Coplands comments, he said (paraphrased)....that he wrote this...for the populace not recognized for great works...just the people...who go unrecognized. The New York Philharmonic, under the baton of James Levine. The original score has one first trumpet...one first French horn...etc...the battery of percussion is in the original score. I heard the original...by a state supported college brass ensemble...aside....Maurice Murphy was the first trumpet of the LSO (London Symphony Orchestra)...so good...that sometimes his trumpet was a solo trumpet, with orchestral accompany ..but, John Williams loved Murphys over orchestra trumpet. Just an aside.... I hope this rendition of Copland is enjoyed...I love it. https://youtube/watch?v=FLMVB0B1_Ts This is especially for Donna Button..Lauren Brewer Clark...all...on this forum...the unrecognized....who still go on. OK...Im crying.....I dont care....a man can cry. I dont know the oriental comments....all I know is the New York Philharmonic, and James Levine as a conductor. OK?
