I am sure the gun control addicts are salivating at the opportunities provided by (to use the administrations typical vocabulary) a sensible, logical and historically-correct viewpoint of what our founding fathers really meant by the 2nd Amendment. Time and time again they stumble over themselves to force a specific narrative when one of their own comes up with what they view as solid logic that the average American will agree with. Its embarrassing that a former American Justice (usually a title that indicates a high level of intelligence) has come up with such drivel. Are we to believe that the founders saw a need to protect the right to keep and bear arms of an army? Or in his own words limited in scope to the uses of arms related to military activity. -An American Gunfighter
