I am thinking of Dad and Mawmaw & Pawpaw Dutton this morning and am glad they are forever young and in perfect health in Heaven. I am missing them this season, but my joy for them does take first place and I know I’ll see them again. This world is a hard place to live in and getting worse every day. With Christmas lighting up everywhere, this lyric comes to mind: “I simply wished, for one more day with you; one more day, one more time, one more sunset, maybe Id be satisfied..” My thoughts turn the corner to my loved ones around me. I will not wait. I wish for one more day right now, and it has been granted,,, today. I choose not to look back and ask ‘why’ but I will look at today and say ‘thank You”. So to all of us that have an empty chair at the table this year, I am thankful for the chairs that are occupied; for there sit my Christmas presents. Good Saturday morning everyone! ~James 1: 16-17
