I am truly tapped in. Juuuust yesterday I thought to myself about my five voices. The way I speak when Im with my Crucian friends and family, the way I speak for professional or formal settings, the way I speak with my St. Lucian friends and family, the way I speak with my husband, the way I speak with my American friends. ALL English. All shaped by the listener. All shaped by history. Speak to be heard. Speak to be understood. It all has value. She is beyond amazing. WORTH the five minutes.
