I am very excited to announce the registration forms are available for the Chirk to Llangollen canal Towpath Charity walk, raising money for CLAPA which is the Cleft Lip & Palate Assoction. Walk will take place on Bank Holiday Monday 26th August, starting at 10am for registration in Chirk, and ending at approx 4pm in Llangollen. Stops en route include Telford Inn and Sun Trevor, with the final destination being Bridge Inn Llangollen (we have use of the function room upstairs, and they do lovely food). Transport to start and from finish is at walkers own discretion. This is open for frineds and family who are interested in the walk as part of staying healthy, the fun part of it being the kinda pub crawl, and the feel good factor of raising money for such a worthwhile charity. As some of you may know my elder sister is expecting in August, the baby will be born with cleft lip and palate and this charity is giving them so much support. 1 in 700 children born in the UK need the support of CLAPA - the only UK based charity for cleft lip and palate.
