I am very lucky to meet so many people throughout my day. I am more honored to meet so many precious animals that can make up such a large part of your lives. But, my job is not always easy. I cannot always help every animal that I touch--despite what my heart and soul desires, or what my experience and knowledge can physically help me do. I had a very difficult day today, and I was empowered by a very overwhelming loss. It is the hardest part of this job. All I can say is that it is never easy to say goodbye. ANIMALS ARE NOT OUR WHOLE LIFE, BUT THEY SURE MAKE OUR LIVES WHOLE!
