I am writing to thank all of you for supporting the Clean Greens Farm and Market this year. Those of you that purchased CSA boxes, gave donations, bought produce from the market stands volunteered your time at the farm and at the stand, we say Thank You. I can’t begin to name all the volunteers. I am going to have a special event real soon to acknowledge all of you. Our farm manager, Tommie Willis is the greatest. We gave over 15,000 lbs of produce to food banks this year. We applied for four grants this year and even though our project seems to fit their criteria, all of them said others organizations were a better fit. It is a real struggle with no financial support from the City or County, but we love what we do, and we are helping a lot of people to eat healthier. If by chance you need a tax write off this year, we will gladly accept and appreciate your donation. Clean Greens is a project of a 501c3 non-profit organization.
