So this picture captures how Im feeling today. The shirt says it all. Its the Monday after camp and Im guessing more than a few of you are feeling a little blah today, or even a bit depressed. Its natural. We call it PCDS: Post Camp Depression Syndrome. We just came from an intense week with God and our friends, and now were home, and running short of sleep. On days like this, or even on worse days, its important to remember that no matter how youre feeling, whats true is still true. And a few of those things are: - God is the eternal King of the universe. - Were all messed-up, sinful people. - He loves us anyway. - He loves us even if were not perfect. - He wants to walk with us through all the ups and downs the rest of our lives. - No matter what youre facing, He can bring you through it. - Those who OVERCOME will receive a crown of life! (Revelation 2:10 bit.ly/UO8JGY, James 1:12 bit.ly/1o76NWN.) So no, Im not feeling particularly excited about anything today, to be honest. But God is still God, and He still reigns.
