I, amongst many others I assume, am tired of hearing we have the best room, promo, sound…whatever, in the city. Its all a lie. If you think that works, youre a moron. All these things are subjective to the listener… and experience. I think I say this on FB now and then, but Sundays are research days. The days I look into new rooms to keep in the know.. and maybe plan something to try something new if its the right scenario. I hate this line, dont waste your time. Maybe try-- people like our room because were still in business - ha. Just had someone tell me they steal all kinds of shows from venue A and venue B ….thats cool. Why does that make me wanna work with yall though? Did we forget how to sell in this business? Did we forget how to be creative? I think so. So I took an offer from above venue C and it ended up being significantly lower than what we would make at venue A or B.. and in theory a worse situation (money-aside). Seriously… buyers/promoters… if you want to take my shows away from other people. Make some calls about me. Its not hard. Its just effort. Try and figure me out, I triple-cat-dog dare you.
