I badmouthed UCLA and that was not right. My son goes there and loves the school. For him it has been a challenge choosing a major. So I figured to make amends, after deleting my post, I would find something good about UCLA and post it. My first choice is research. There is a great emphasis there on research, as there is at most universities. Publish or perish they used to say. So anyway, I did a search for UCLA and research. And this was the first thing to come up. I would have figured UCSD for this, but it is UCLA.
