I bought a new slow cooker as my last one died. Last one was 1.5L and this new one is 6L which seems MASSIVE lol. I wanted to try the hasselback potatoes, but in the instruction manual is says do not operate the slow cooker unless it is half full or more. There are only 4 in the family, so obviously a few potatoes for us wont half fill this big sucker.. any suggestions? Have other people had any issues with not filling their cooker at least half way?
