I called the living center today to check on my Little Mama and talked to a most wonderful young woman. She told me that Little Mama has had two very good days, and that she FINALLY got her to come out of her apartment to eat. It seems the only way she would eat was inside her little room where she felt somewhat safe. But yesterday the girl talked her into eating in one of the common rooms they call the Neighborhood. She said Little Mama talks about her life on the farm (when she was young) and what all she did and how hard she and her parents worked. She talked about making shirts on a sewing machine and the girl said she talked about her children and said....I think they are old enough now to go on alone. God bless my Little Mama. I think she finally let go.
