I called this one The Air because its meant to sound like it could keep swirling around you and eventually just evaporate into the atmosphere. This is primarily just sound made for you to share your space with, wherever that space may be. The song began with an edit made from a live jam I recorded. I ran four different midi loops to my Nord Lead 2 and tweaked all the tones in realtime to build textures & transition from bleeps to squelches. The synth lines sound like arpeggiators but theyre actually programmed note for note and often change just slightly here and there. Theres also some modular synth in here, some parts are just raw samples of an oscillator by itself with me twisting the pitch around by hand. My vision for this one was to create psychedelic moments over a dancey nu disco beat. Somewhere between the soundtrack to a cosmic journey and Pink Floyd gone Electro.
