I came across this post by Arlene Dickinson (Dragons Den) on her Facebook page -- Arlene Dickinson -- and felt compelled to respond. I remember the days when I, a psychotherapist and parenting educator, yelled and was rude to my own kids. I know what it feels like to feel desperate, overwhelmed and against the clock. Maybe thats what this parent was feeling who crossed paths with Arlene? Hopefully we can support each other so parents can learn strategies to catching their anger before it hurts anyone else and get the help they need to thrive.
