I came home earlier than normal in hopes that the regular Liberian CHRISTMAS NOISE would keep me up. First I watched CNN then I slipped a copy of 24 (yeah, Jack Bauer) in the DVD. For a moment I watched the movie... later I realized the TV was watching me sleep. And then.... I woke up.... and it was after midnight... it was already Christmas..but how could I have known?...There wasnt the normal after midnight yelling, people returning from church singing, loud music and all that is characteristic of Christmas in Liberia...Why? Because theres a Curfew!!! I just realized theres a curfew. Never paid attention to it because I hit the bed at 9-10pm. Hmm, well see how it looks on the morrow. But be that as it may, MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL.
