I came in at 6:30 after a great sleep. Lilly is asleep and Daniel was at first restless and all scrunched up with his legs over the bed rail. I got his legs under control and started to gently stroke his leg. He responded by closing his eyes and drifting into what appears to be a peaceful sleep. This is confirmed by the screen displaying his vital signs. It is very comforting to see the slow and steady beating of his very strong heart and the long deep steady breaths. He has not had any pain meds for some time and I feel this is a great sign of healing for his brain and body. They are no longer going to be removing any of his spinal fluid and if we dont see any more leaking from his nose they will remove the drain and be able to put in his stomach tube tomorrow My dear Gina is on her way and should arrive around noon. Joseph will be here around 10:00.
