I cant not write serious raps- which is proving to be a very difficult hurdle for me... No, fun raps is not my craft, but id like to have fun someday, in music ha. I think I need to rap. Its less about music and more about some deep expression I feel forced to channel my subconscious through...and Im guessing, by my own songs, my subconscious is a pretty dark and serious place. So be it- Im DEF a different person outwardly/socially than I am in my raps...which Im now seeing may be the result of rapping. Maybe writing raps lifts a weight too heavy to carry in silence.
