I cherish my friendships, ‘online’ and otherwise. But I do tend to get a bit reclusive around Christmas, and not because I’m particularly aloof or ‘bah-humbug’ about it but because I don’t have family close enough to visit without it being a strain on my stamina, not to mention my perpetually overstressed budget. Thankfully I live comfortably as a ‘singleton’ and aren’t the least bit troubled by loneliness, whereas solitude doesn’t bother me one bit. I keep busy, what with one thing and another, and though I do have excellent friends here in my area I’m shy to impose on their special family time. I must confess though, I’m never sorry to see the back of Christmas. Right now Im ready for a little pillow-time. Nite-nite peeps...
