I choose to make this my post public for a reason that those who know me well will understand. It is a sad day for me when I see Muslims saying that the intentions of other muslims should be suspected simply because they are reverts to Islam and not born muslims. I am ashamedand I am sorry to have known such so called born muslims who seem to think that every new revert is a potential CIA or CAN spy. People came to this religion because they were guided by Allah not because of you people and your conspiracy theories. Wallahi, if one should look at your discriminatory statements which you have been saying to justofy an act that in my book is meant to show that somehow you are better than us simply because we are reverts, one would begin to think for a second that Islam is a discriminatory religion(Naudhu billahi min dhalik). Alhamdulillah that Islam IS NOT A RELIGION OF DISCRIMINATION, neither is it a religion of hate, regionalism, ethnicism, tribalism, nationalism or all such -isms that serve no other purpose but to create a divide between the slaves of Allah(SWT). I am appalled that some of you fools that I thought had some Islam in them are such racist/segregatory A-holes(no apologies). Wallahi, your we-are-better-than-reverts air of superiority sickens me. Some of you have suggested that whenever a person reverts to Islam, we should somehow check their hearts to see if their intentions are pure. While you are at it, maybe you want to check if they are fit to be muslims also?. I know alot of fellow reverts who ha ve suffered from such mindless discrimination, I have suffered from such stupid(and I mean it) discriminations because I wasnt born a Muslim. I never complained and neither did I hate other muslims for what they did, because just as there are good and bad fruits on a tree so are there good and bad muslims in this ummah. I pray that Allah(SWT) saves you from your own ignoorance and bigoted stupidity before you be the cause of people leav ing guidance after getting it.
