I chose this to be my artifact because this is my favourite song. As a young girl I was embarrassingly spoiled, I would whine if I did not get my way. I would throw a tantrum at every no or maybe another time. But then I was introduced into this song, and as a MJ fan I of course listened to it without judgement. I was inspired by every word, every verse. What made it more amazing is that the singers in the video have everything that everyone could wish for: money and fame. I believed that is what made you powerful. But that isnt what makes you powerful, its unity and generosity. They are talented singers who are helping strangers who do not have everything we do in Western countries. They dont have the privilege to go to school and not worry about tuition fees. These singers inspired me to stop being selfish and take advantage of being a Canadian to give newcomers a better life. Its time to make a change and take a stand, and that is what I am doing.
