I cried in Sears tonight. I needed to find a black cardigan sweater that I can wear over dress clothes to stay warm and still nice looking at gigs. We went into Sears and wandered around trying to find sweaters. (Im not a frequent shopper for sure.) I decided to try to find something that might fit downstairs before I would admit defeat and go upstairs to the far side where they relegate the plus sized clothing. Then we found a corner that had several different sweater styles. I tried on a few different XL black ones, and they fit well. I was pleased. Then Jon spotted another style in several colors that was just what I was looking for. I tried on a purple one because I had to (you know me and purple. :) ) Then went to grab a black one, but the blacks didnt have any Extra Larges. So with a sigh, I pulled a Large off the rack to see how long it might be before that fit. I pulled it on, and... it fit! It felt nice! The sleeves werent baggy and hanging off my wrists like the purple XL, and it fit well everywhere else! I was in shock! I was wearing a LARGE! In the regular womens department! I was crying and grinning and getting a big hug from my proud hubby. Its still putting a smile on my face. :) I had to go back around and try on a Purple Large. They were on sale, so I walked out of the store the very pleased owner of a LARGE black and LARGE purple cardigan. Thank you, Lord for helping me finally find the combination of techniques to be successful at real weight loss!!!! Im just full of praise tonight. And more happy tears.
