A new building for Grime Street.. When returning to modelling - TopicsExpress

A new building for Grime Street.. When returning to modelling after many years away one layout that inspired the northern urban grot of Grime St was Dave Shakespeares Tetley Mills model railway. Unfortunately Dave recently passed away after a battle with cancer and it was his wifes wishes that the model railway stuff should be auctioned off for Cancer Research. I am proud to say that one of the iconic buildings has found its way to me and will be appearing on Grime Street when Ive worked out quite how and where to incorporate it, I understand that his wife is happy that it has found a home on a layout on the exhibition circuit so some of Daves fantastic work remains on public view to a degree. As it is my habit, it will receive a name in keeping with its provenance Shakespeare Terrace Congregational Church.
