...I didnt realize that Fathers Day was so important... To everyone, like me, who had a dad that was absent, abusive, or a crumb that, at most, served as a negative example (with the exception of work ethic in my case), buy yourself a drink. You learned everything the hard way, with no guidance whatsoever, and often against all odds as you were utterly alone. Because of this, youre 20 years behind those who had a loving family, but YOU DID IT. STILL HERE HUH? Although mental scars and questions of why can take a lifetime to heal/answer. So, thanks dad for making me the person I am today - nervous stomach and all? I guess. My dad used to listen to Cats In The Cradle and lament I didnt speak 100 words to my dad.
