I dont get the negativity about Halloween because it isnt Australian. Yer, thats Australian, How about Easter, driving your Japanese, Korean, European car down to a world wide conglomerate owned supermarket to buy chocolate bunnies owned by an American company being made in Korea because some Jew rose up and moved a rock and flew in the air. How about sitting in front of your Japanese tele, phone or American iPhone or iPad while reading this pile of shit on American face book while sipping on your American bourbon or British scotch after eating your Thai, Chinese or pizza takeaway. Yer, thats Australian. Halloween seems a bit insignificant when you really think about, the world is a bigger place than Australia. And Australia is only going to get bigger with different cultures and traditions. We can still hold our own traditions like cork hats, lager phones and budgie smugglers but one day soon, Hopefully in the near future, there wont be any countries, just earthlings who live together...........peacefully
