I dont have much time to post, cause the human has to go away soon, but I think I can be a little positive again. Were back to making baby steps forward, its seems. I feel a little bit better again than yesterday. Last night the human even spotted me eating the mixed kibbles again. I also ate Hermans kibbles quite well again. And I didnt throw up anymore after yesterday afternoon. Another good sign is that I snuggled with Herman on the bed with the human again last night. I hadnt done that anymore for a while, cause when I feel bad, I prefer to sleep alone. And this morning I played with Herman a bit too. Whats kinda weird is that this morning I didnt want my wet food with the painkiller and the paste in it. Yesterday evening I had wet food with nothing in it, cause the human wanted to give me the painkiller only once a day and the paste I get only once a day anyway, but even with nothing in it I wasnt too enthusiastic about the wet food I used to love so much. And this morning I didnt want it at all. I preferred eating kibbles instead, so its not like I dont wanna eat at all. Maybe this is the purrfect moment to see if I can do without the painkillers, but the human does want me to get the paste in. She didnt get the chance yet, but she wants to try what several friends suggested: Put some of the paste on my paw so I have to lick it off. But what if I still need the painkiller? If I dont wanna eat wet food, how is she gonna get it in me? No way will I let her put it in my mouth! So lets hope I can do without it. Dushi did well last night. She meowed before we went to bed, but kept quiet when the human was asleep. This morning she snuggled on the humans lap a short while and by now she retreated to the cat room. Herman did well too. He loved it when I snuggled with him on the humans bed again last night and he loved it when I played a little with him this morning. We ate kibbles together at the same time from the same food bowl and now he is napping in the hammock. Jinx wasnt in either his apartment or the backyard when the human wanted to give him breakfast this morning again, but when she was preparing her own, he showed up and enjoyed his breakfast in the kitchen. The human wont stay away for very long. Ill take a nap while shes gone, maybe together with Herman. I dont know yet. If I want a peaceful nap, Id better do it alone.
