I dont know about you, but Ive had enough of all the campaigning - TopicsExpress

I dont know about you, but Ive had enough of all the campaigning commercials on TV, signs on the highway, door to door visits from people who only know you the week before election day. Campaigning has to be the biggest waste of this nations money. So much money spent on lies, deceit, deception, and finger pointing about what their opponent did or didnt do, without ever providing specific information about what the candidate in the commercial will do, other than say they have a plan. Have you EVER heard a politician say . . . Here is what I will specifically do, AND HERE IS HOW I AM GOING TO DO IT ?????? What is the plan? They never tell us what their plan is - never!!! My opponent failed to do this, or didnt do that, BUT I HAVE A PLAN! Put your faith in me because I have a plan. Some of the commercials make the candidate sound like they walk on water, spouting how they saved this, or developed that, or single handedly created thousands and thousands of jobs. All BS! Politicians dont create jobs, they dont control gas prices, they dont do most of the things they give themselves credit for in their commercials. And who cares what you look like with your shirt sleeves rolled up, or when youre playing with your family in your back yard? After they win the election and get into office their mission is to only provide support to their biggest supporters, and contributors. THATS HOW IT WORKS REGARDLESS OF PARTY AFFILIATION. All the campaign money that it takes to win an election could do so much good for our country if used differently, like lowering taxes which WOULD create jobs, and fixing our infrastructure, which also WOULD create jobs! Thats what politicians really CAN do. Change our tax structure so the private sector creates jobs. Control the budget so Americans arent slaves to the IRS because of wasteful spending. Create the jobs you have the power to create, like public works projects, highways, bridges, and other dire needs to our aging infrastructure. Enough, got that off my chest, feel a little better. Now George Carlin will explain it as only he can. Here are two different clips on the subject. You might have to copy and paste them since FB only allows for one link to work in a post. m.youtube/watch?v=rsL6mKxtOlQ m.youtube/watch?v=07w9K2XR3f0
