I dont know about you but there is nothing better than having second helping of really good things. And our second helping of the Sound of Music last night was certainly as tasty as the first cut! Normally 2nd nights of a successful show can be a little shaky but Night 2 gelled and set and was as wonderful as opening night! Over 300 folks packed our house last night and really enjoyed the show! I had the pleasure of meeting a prof from the UA theatre department and he never knew we were here! I told him sometimes we are the best kept secret in NWA to which he replied...you should share the secret! To which I replied over 700 people over the last three nights already know it...and at our 48th season the only people who dont know us are the ones that arent looking for us! The secret ingredient in this recipe is that If you are looking for chocolate pie you may pass up the cherry! Both are good... but cherry is better! Lesson learned? If you want dessert it comes in lots of flavors and sometimes you got to try the new place to find out what kind of pie they got. Sometimes you need to leave your table and take a chance on finding the perfect palate pleaser. This show is just that! It is really good looking, and every bite of that big ol slice is so tasty you want another one. AND there are many folks who have had their second helping so far. Were serving this delightful dish again this afternoon at 3:00 pm. You can have it plain, with whipped cream or a la mode but any way you slice it its gonna be great!
