I dont know what Bill is trying to get at, but this is where my mind is at. This seems like a religion of mans knowledge. Look how smart we are. Look how great we are. Big Bang, human genome and disease eradication, is there nothing that we as humans cant figure out? Let us worship ourselves as gods. And in my mind, I am like, eat drink and be marry for 75 year or 10 years, I have a plan to be marry forever. People seem to worship the humans ability to figure out the system of things. I have a relationship with the Creator of the system of things. King Nebuchadnezzar boasted about a kingdom he built, but God brought him low. Ezekiel 8, It talks about men worshipping images of men. At first I thought this was the Catholics, guy dressed as saints worshiping images of saints. (I am a protestant). Now I am thinking that it may be atheist, scientist, worshiping the images of great scientific discovers like Christopher Hitchens and Stephen Hawking. Again, I may be totally off the wall and off on a rant. It is just what is happening in my mind.
