I dont know whos familiar with this story, but this kid has spent many, many years in prison for a murder he didnt commit..a friend he was with was so drunk, he couldnt remember what happened the night of the crime & went to the police saying he dreamed about it, so they mustve done it!! then a witness identified Ryan mistakenly too..he was convicted & sentenced to life in prison..years later, his friend admitted he was wrong & the witness also stated in court (during retrial) that he was mistaken about the ID he made & apologized to Ryan & his family in court..Ryan was however, found guilty again..(I may be a bit off on details, but you get the idea) Luckily, his family & attorney never gave up & Dateline has been following the story in hopes this injustice would be made right..FINALLY!!!! Nothing can make up for the years he has spent in prison, but im so happy hes free now...(Hes got to be about 30 now & was convicted in his teens) Thank God!!
