I dont know why people didnt like Jersey Girl better. Kevin Smith/ Kevin Smith sure gets criticized for this flick a lot, yet Ben did an outstanding job and heck that damn Raquel Castro girl gets me every time when she first sees her Dad show up. Such a cute picture that did a good job of showing a great family relationship with strong performances. I guess some people just cant get over seeing a lead actress die or the fact that Will Smith didnt end the movie by hiring Ben. Mallrats and films like Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back were a ton of fun, but Chasing Amy and Jersey Girl were truly some of his best films from an intimate character portrayal (and his best darn job of getting outstanding performances out of his talent). Yes, you all can tell that K=Smith and View Askew Productions does tend to lend a huge inspiration to a lot of my films here Lyon Productions (Lyon Motion Pictures).
