I dont like being hard on my youth kids but weve spoon fed them soft religion for too long. Played too many games and watered down Bible study. I want to see disciples willing to die to self and if need be die for their faith. Not Bible trivia winners but Bible saturated, Gospel sharing, feet washing fools for Jesus. If your student came home tonight saying I was tough on them I was. Jesus didnt call us to a comfortable life where we produce cookie cutter Christians who are simply nice. I want to see lives changed and that only happens when we call for repentance and fall to our knees in prayer. Revival only happens through brokenness and humility. I love them to much to be a cool youth pastor. Jesus died for more than that.
