I dont often do this but . . . I am a huge fan of Rectified. Wonderful, meaty, well-written tv drama series with important themes like prison, justice, re-entry, public corruption and family. You might want to try it. Until I had to cope with cancer and cancer treatment, I never watched tv or took rests in bed. But sometimes a soldier has to give in. So there I was filled with toxins, wondering what was happening in my body about 18 hrs without stop and Nancy Wilson had really started to get on my nerve. By day talk radio, and then I watched the news on the TV box, turned it off and went to my 1000+ CD collection. That was my entertainment. Music all day and night. But after 2 days of no sleep, I turned on the tv and at 4 am on a Thursday, I discovered The Wire . . . and I was onto what really happened on the tv machine. We always had cable and I always felt that it was for getting a better picture. So now I have quite a few series under my belt. BOSS is another of my favorites, House of Cards and Games of Thrones and a whole lot of DVRing in between. Hope you enjoy it.
