I dont often promote companies or products, but I cant help but promote Ting, a little known cell provider that deserves more attention mostly because it would save the majority of people a lot of money off their cell phone bills. It is a pay for what you use service that runs on Sprints Network and roams (free) on Verizon (only voice and text). To give perspective, with Verizon we had 3 basic phones (paying $122 before taxes) and with Ting we have 1 basic and 2 smartphones. Our estimated bill on Ting this month is $61 before taxes (with it likely dropping as low as $44 some months, depending on use). They have great consumer service as well. If youre thinking at all about switching providers or simply like saving money, give it a look and dont hesitate to ask me (or their great customer support) any questions. It should be noted that you have to either buy your phone outright from them or Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) from Sprint (or buy on Ebay), but the savings still exist when that is factored in.
