I dont understand why everyone is so down on Techs play last night. Yes it was sloppy, but the mistakes made are easily correctable. Missed blocks, missed tackles, dropped passes, missed assignments on defense, all happen, especially in the first game of the year. It will improve, and the positives for last night far outweigh the negatives. The running game looked amazing, and Davis Webb turned in a great performance. I know he had 2 picks, but one should have been pass interference, and the other just got ripped away from the receiver. The defense looked good at times, and shaky at other times, but that happens when you are breaking in a bunch of new players and not trying to show off too much to the rest of the conference. Keenon Ward played with the kind of aggression I love. He was flying around and hitting people and just on the edge of being charged with assault with the punishment he was handing out. Kliff and the coaching staff will get the mistakes corrected and we will be in for something special this year. Watching the game really makes me wish I was coaching again this year.
