I ended up having to go to the doctor in order to get my perscriptions renewed yesterday. We got all that out of the way and I asked her if she would do me some bloodwork to see if my acidosis and my thyroid was still on the right path and she done a A1C panel at the same time. Well I got a call from the answering service for the laboratory that was running my bloodwork and apparently my blood sugar was extremely high and the doctor on call wanted me to go to the ER so they could get it down for me. Its hard for me to just pick up and go somewhere on the snap of a finger. So, I told her that I would just take my insulin and go to bed like I had planned and if it didnt come down by t he morning when my healthcare worker come in id make her take me to the ER. Well this morning it was 250, still a little high but not as high as almost 500. So what im asking for prayer for is to bring m sugar down and stay down and for them to leave my insulin like it is, not to mention I need to lose about 14lbs. Eating for me is just so hard. They like any other diabetic wants me to eat 3 meals a day plus 2 snacks and I just cant do it. I do good to eat 2 meals a day. So, please keep me in your prayers that the blood sugar comes and stays down and I get the weight off.
