I erased my previous rant for a more constructive one, I left it on their page but here it is: " LSCO routinely engages in unwarrented stops of pedestrians in Lehigh Acres. Tonight, unidentified white male officer stopped me at approximately 1151 on Eighth Ave/Leeland Heights saying I met the description of a house breaker, a "white male on foot" - I walk and jog every night for exercise because the daytime heat is prohibitive. I do not appreciate being stopped for a vague description of "white male on foot" especially when I am wearing a very visible red jersey which would have surely been part of a description if I was the suspect. I doubt there ever was a suspect, as I was passed by 2 marked and unmarked LCSO Crown Victorias just a block away, headed in the general direction of the 7-11 where they can get free coffee. It is shoddy police work at best and unconstitutional at worst. If Sheriff Scott decides to stop using the bully pulpit of his office to espouse his right wing views, he could provide more leadership which would lead to a more effective law enforcement agency"
