I feel a need to clarify something for everyone. I am going to be taking a while to reflect on some things, but I think I need to let people know I do not hate religion. I honestly dont. I find many aspects of religions fascinating. I find many symbolic traditions, art, and culture to be intriguing. What I hate are the bad things done in the name of religion. What I hate is people being beaten or killed in the name of God/Allah/whatever you may believe. I hate religious texts condoning killing, raping, violence and promoting ideas of murderous gods. That is what I am not a fan of. I do not hate people. I hate when we are given a life to live and allow ourselves to judge people for no other reason besides the infallibility of our religious doctrines. I am human and I am changing. Maybe Ill be different tomorrow. But this is where I am today and I have a long way to go regarding my attitudes regarding things and how I choose to express them. I make many mistakes. But please dont misunderstand my hatred for the atrocities committed in the name of any religion for hatred of the religious.
