I feel compelled to talk about a recent incident that took place with a close friend. She was hired to do a job as both a makeup artist and model. The faces of 3 models and a price given for modelling a costume. On the day of the appointment she did 3 faces (including herself) and was given monday wear to model. So time comes for payment and she is paid for 2 faces and paid $200.00 less than promised to model. In correspondence with the individual she is told, No way in Nato I or anyone gonna pay someone to makeup their own face...and listen what you doing is hussle ok noone in their right mind will rather lime over making $800.00 or even $500.00 in one day becuz d government surely not paying anyone that for a day pay... please note she was given $200.00 less to model because it was monday wear (information she was not made aware of at the time). This kind of wanton disrespect is taking place too often within local circles. Too often people act like they are doing you a favour by paying you (esp with makeup artists and model) like you should be grateful for whatever scraps you get. Firstly she was a makeup artist and model...if she didnt do her face someone would have had to be paid to do it. You want to get that for free? Truly conman behaviour...and you pay less because its monday wear? Without informing? You sound like a scam artist and maybe the organisation you represent should check u out seriously unless they condone such behaviour. And by your utterances you know little about the Government and salaries....before making yourself sound like and imbecile maybe you should stfu, and have a seat. It is time people are respected for their craft! It takes skill and dedication to acquire excellence....do have a blessed night.
